Rückuf von 1900 Exemplaren der S 1000 RR, Modelljahr 2012

BMW ruft weltweit rund 1900 Exemplare der S 1000 RR, Modelljahr 2012, zur Nachbesserung in die Werkstätten.

Die Pleuelschrauben könnten sich lösen, was zu schweren Motorschäden führen würde. In Deutschland sind etwa 250 Motorräder betroffen; ihre Besitzer werden benachrichtigt. Im Zuge der Umrüstung werden die Motoren ausgebaut, die untere Gehäusehälfte demontiert und neue Pleuelschrauben mit Schraubensicherungsmittel eingesetzt.
